Is it, or is it not?
A friend of mine actually told me that Shaun of the Dead is a "B" movie.
In my expert opinion she is just not accepting that some foreigners can make anything worth watching, and it really hurt my feelings (joke)
So anyway I am here to defend the foreign film that contains the greatest beings ever, zombies, thats right they are the greatest! Cause I said so...

Sometimes I wish I was a zombie. Eatin' brains, moaning, walking around really slow with my arms out. Sounds cool.
I really liked it. The best? Probably not. How can it compare to Return of the Living Dead, circa mid 80's.
Killer soundtrack. To this day when I hear The Cramps I get freaked out.
I like Shaun of the Dead because I think we have all been either the dude on the couch or the underachiever at some point in our lives....or still are. |

it is the funniest zombie movie that still has an air of seriousness. most of the time they stick with surprise scares or gore but miss the unique oppurtunity presented for laughs that only comes with a zombie movie.
(extra: in land of the dead, one of romero's latest films, both shaun, and the director of shaun of the dead can be found in the club, as zombies.... look hard they arent easy to spot.) |

It's got zombies AND BJJ in it.
The best of both worlds...
Do a search on netflix for it.
| Quote: | | While training to fulfill their dreams of being jujitsu champions, Fujio (Tadanobu Asano) and Mitsuo (Shô Aikawa) work in a fire extinguisher factory. But when a mob of zombies suddenly invade Tokyo, they'll have to employ their limited fighting skills to battle the undead. They soon join with other zombie fighters to try to reclaim the city. Directed by Sakichi Sato, this Japanese zombie-movie satire is based on the manga by Yusaku Hanakuma. |
